Pete Kiehart is an American visual journalist based in Washington, DC. Over the past eight years, he has dedicated much of his time to covering the conflict in Ukraine, where he lived from 2015 to 2016. He has also extensively reported across the United States and Europe for various publications, including The New York Times, National Public Radio, NBC News, Bloomberg News, and The Washington Post. In addition to his work in Ukraine, Kiehart's recent reporting has taken him to a fusion reactor outside of Boston, the clay courts of the French Open, the US-Mexico border, and the January 6th storming of the US Capitol.
