Chris Niccolls is the host of the PetaPixel YouTube show and co-host of the PetaPixel Podcast, having worked with his creative partner, Jordan Drake, for over fifteen years, starting with The Camera Store TV and moving on to DPReviewTV. With a background in black-and-white darkroom photography, Chris has experienced the evolution of photography over his twenty-year career, from analog to digital and AI imagery, reviewing nearly every photographic tool available. He taught photography at Calgary's SAIT for ten years and shares his knowledge with a global YouTube audience, frequently speaking on photographic technology and presenting at events like the SocialWest symposium. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, often trading his camera for a fly rod.
