Tom A. Smith is committed to introducing Leica photography to a new generation. As the founder of the Leica Akademie, he has organized workshops for thousands of photographers in over twenty countries.

With a background in theater and journalism and a degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Tom has built a reputation for engaging audiences and simplifying complex technical information. He currently serves as the Director of the Leica Akademie of North America, overseeing Leica's public education programs.
